Task 6 - Mind map

Image
Hey guys! In this activity, we are collaboratively creating a mind map of the concepts we have studied so far. Please join this mind map:  https://app.mindmup.com/map/_free/2019/02/c47019b0387911e9a5d1d9b80e092e3a and create the relationships between the concepts: Probability Event Laplace's Rule Number of experiments Feel free to add new concepts if you want to, but explain to your classmates your reasons so that everyone participates in the creation of the map. Remember that the purpose of this activity is that you summarize and review the studied concepts.

Task 5 - Coin tossing simulation

Image
Hey guys! Find the link to this GeoGebra applet where a coin tossing simulation is performed: https://www.geogebra.org/m/gvaD7Wyj Please, comment on this post answering these questions: Before performing the experiment, what is the theoretical probability of getting heads? and tails? Perform the experiment around 75 times... Are the number of heads and tails equal? Now, repeat the experiment more than 1000 times (you can adjust the speed). What is your conclusion? Looking forward to reading your answers! Fran,

Task 4 - Laplace's Rule

Image
Hey guys! Please find here the link to the GeoGebra applet we have used in class regarding Laplace's Rule. https://www.geogebra.org/m/HVnqyTr5 Use it many times until you feel confident with the use of Laplace's rule. Then, comment on this post when an event is likely to happen and when an event is unlikely to happen. Should you have any doubt, know that I am at your entire beck and call!! Just drop a message on the comments section of this post. See you in class! Fran.

Task 3 - FlipGrid

You can do it! - Comment here in this post your punctuation as well as some new words you have learned so that your classmates can be aware of them. Enjoy!!

Today, we are watching the video Basic Probability: For this activity: - Please, double check that you are already subscribed to  Mathantics YouTube channel ! - Leave a comment on this post's comment section pointing out a keyword from basic probability that you have learnt from the video.
